ONE-DAY WORKSHOP · TWO LIVE ONLINE FOLLOW-UPS
Leadership Resilience
Clearer judgement. Steadier leadership. Under pressure.
Pressure is part of leadership. When demands accumulate, it can become harder to think clearly, manage emotional reactions and give people the attention they need.
This practical workshop helps you recognise how pressure affects you and develop ways to respond with greater clarity, composure and choice.
One full-day workshop, followed by two 90-minute live online sessions at four and eight weeks. Both follow-ups are included in the package price.
Who this workshop is for
For leaders and managers navigating demanding workloads, organisational change, uncertainty or difficult relationships.
It is particularly relevant when you need to:
- Maintain clear judgement and approach complex problems creatively under pressure.
- Respond constructively to conflict and strong emotions.
- Balance sustained demands with recovery.
- Support your team while managing your own responsibilities.
- Encourage honest conversations, learning and shared accountability.
What you will practise
The day combines accessible explanations of stress and resilience with guided exercises, personal reflection and small-group work. You apply the techniques to situations from your own working life.
01
Recognise and regulate your stress response
Understand how pressure can affect attention, emotions and behaviour. Practise comfortable paced breathing and a brief breathing reset for use before or after demanding moments.
02
Recover perspective and explore new solutions
Explore a real challenge from different perspectives. Practise stepping back from immediate reactions, widening your view of the problem and identifying constructive options before choosing your next action.
03
Turn concerns into constructive action
Use structured reflection to name difficult emotions, work with recurring worries and identify useful next steps. Practise gratitude alongside an honest appraisal of what needs to change.
04
Manage energy more deliberately
Identify what drains and restores your energy across work and personal life. Consider what needs to be protected, renegotiated, redesigned or stopped.
05
Strengthen psychological safety
Explore how your leadership behaviour influences whether people feel able to ask questions, raise concerns and acknowledge mistakes. Consider how to support openness alongside clear expectations and accountability.
06
Listen with greater attention
Practise listening in small groups, allowing space to understand before forming a response. Reflect on how this approach could improve difficult conversations and working relationships.
What you take away
You leave with experience of practical techniques and a personal plan for applying them.
- A brief breathing reset for demanding situations.
- A method for gaining perspective before acting.
- A reflective writing practice that connects emotions with constructive action.
- An overview of your energy demands and sources of recovery.
- Specific steps for improving listening and openness within your team.
The workshop introduces the skills. Continued practice and the follow-up sessions help you integrate them into everyday leadership.
