What this pathway is

Statecraft Training is evidence-informed lucid trance training for deep recovery, embodied response rehearsal, real-life transfer, and behaviour change under pressure. It trains a deep state that preserves awareness and choice throughout - mechanistically self-hypnosis informed.

The live introductory workshop introduces the method, the core pathway, and how to begin safely.

The online pathway then supports continued practice over the following weeks and months.

The method is simple but distinctive:

Train the state first.
Rehearse one useful response inside that state.
Return with one grounded next step.

This is not simply relaxation, reflection, or content consumption - and it is not the kind of trance that switches you off.

Most methods reach depth by reducing awareness; Statecraft trains a lucid trance - deep enough for recovery and inner rehearsal, aware enough for choice, and operational enough to rehearse one useful response and return.

Statecraft trains a repeatable pathway into a deep aware operational state: deep enough for recovery and inner rehearsal, aware enough for choice, and clear enough for return.

Within that trained state, participants can practise steadiness, warmth, courage, patience, focus, direction, and grounded action from inside the body.

The aim is not to escape pressure, but to train the state you want available when pressure rises,

What is included

The full online Statecraft Training pathway includes:

  • seven structured lessons
  • three guided recordings (the Complete  Daily Practice is approx. 30 minutes)
  • supporting guides and practice materials
  • a 28-day practice plan
  • continuation guidance beyond the first 28 days
  • 12 months’ access to the online pathway

The 28-day plan provides a structured beginning.

Continued practice over the following weeks and months helps participants become more familiar with the core cues, the guided recordings, and the self-guided forms.

The aim is that, after around three months of regular practice, participants are increasingly able to use the learned Statecraft cues and techniques without always needing the full recordings.

This is an aim of practice, not a guarantee.

The pathway at a glance

Statecraft Training begins by helping participants learn access, depth, stability, and reliable return.

As the pathway becomes familiar, participants can use the trained Statecraft state for embodied response rehearsal, Best Future Self direction, short phrase work, Quiet Room Applications, and advanced pattern work where appropriate.

The pathway follows this progression:

  1. Lesson 1: Introduction
Learn what Statecraft Training is, how the method works, and how to begin safely.
  2. Lesson 2: The Complete Daily Practice
Learn the core guided practice: Settle. Rest. Rehearse. Return.
  3. Lesson 3: Quiet Room Practice
Learn Rest or Operations without the recording, once the pathway is familiar.
  4. Lesson 4: Quiet Room Applications
Use the trained Statecraft state for one useful response: reset, steady, perceive, choose direction, act, or stay warm and firm.
  5. Lesson 5: Self-Recognition & Pattern Reordering
Recognise a familiar pattern, preserve the valid energy, choose a clearer form, and return with one action.
  6. Lesson 6: The Way Back In
Continue after a pause without shame, pressure, or all-or-nothing thinking.
  7. Lesson 7: Practicing without the Recordings  Retrieve and sustain the pathway in self-guided form, without relying on the recordings.

The core practice

The central pathway is:

Settle. Rest. Rehearse. Return.

Settle
Gather attention, soften the body, and enter the practice deliberately.

Rest
Let the body recover deeply while clear awareness remains lightly present.

Rehearse

Once the pathway is familiar, rehearse one useful response from inside the body, then release it.

Return
Come back through breath, body, room, day, and one practical next step.

The core access cue is:

Hand to centre.
Longer out-breath.
Light. Warmth. Life.

This cue helps participants enter the practice, deepen safely, retrieve the pathway in shorter forms, and return clearly.

Light, Warmth, and Life are not decorative ideas. They are a simple alignment map.

Light
Clarity in the mind: attention, perception, judgement, timing, direction, sequence, and choice.

Warmth
Steadiness and human contact: patience, connection, reduced reactivity, relational presence, and tone.

Life
Grounded energy in the body: posture, breath, voice, courage, movement, motivation, and readiness to act.

How the training develops

Statecraft Training works by training the state first.

The full guided practice helps participants learn the pathway into a deep restorative but aware state. The body settles, while awareness, choice, and return remain available.

This state is not the endpoint. It becomes the training ground.

In the early stages, participants first learn access, depth, stability, and reliable return.

As the pathway becomes familiar, the trained Statecraft state can be used for one simple, constructive target.

A participant may work with:

  • one real situation
  • one chosen quality
  • one short behaviour-linked phrase
  • one brief embodied rehearsal
  • one practical next action

The response is rehearsed from inside the body: posture, breath, face, voice, timing, emotional tone, and action.

The return is part of the method. Participants come back through breath, body, room, day, and one practical next step, so the rehearsed response can be carried into ordinary life.

The guided recordings

The online pathway includes three guided recordings.

Introduction

A clear orientation to the method, the pathway, and how to begin. It helps participants understand what Statecraft Training is, why the state matters, and how to approach the practice safely.

The Complete Daily Practice

The core training recording, approximately 30 minutes. It teaches the full loop: enter the state, settle the body, remain aware enough for choice, rest deeply, rehearse one useful response, return clearly, and carry it into life.

Self-Recognition & Pattern Reordering

An advanced guided practice, used when the pathway is already familiar and return is reliable. It helps participants recognise a familiar pattern, preserve its valid energy, choose a clearer form, and return with one action.

Quiet Room Practice

The Quiet Room is the simple inner practice space where the trained Statecraft state can be used for Rest or Operations.

It may be experienced as space, stillness, warmth, a room, a field, darkness, light, or simply a felt sense of being away from ordinary demand.

The Quiet Room is useful because it gives participants a place where the body can remain settled, awareness can stay present, and one useful response can be rehearsed lightly.

There are two main uses.

Rest
Use the Quiet Room for deeper recovery, settling, and return.

Operations
Use the Quiet Room for one useful response once the pathway is familiar and return is reliable.

Operations may include Best Future Self direction, a short behaviour-linked phrase, embodied rehearsal, and one clear next action.

Rest remains the foundation.

Quiet Room Applications

Quiet Room Applications help participants use one trained state for different real-life needs.

Examples include:

  • resetting after pressure
  • steadying before a difficult conversation
  • perceiving more clearly before acting
  • choosing direction
  • taking one grounded action
  • staying warm and firm
  • returning after interruption
  • preparing one useful response before it is needed

The aim is not to force change or create a fantasy identity.

The aim is to practise one useful response clearly enough that it becomes easier to recognise and enact in ordinary life.

Practice Rhythm

The 28-day plan gives participants a structured beginning.

The first stage is not about doing everything at once.

It is about learning the pathway.

A simple progression is:

Days 1–7: Learn the pathway

Use the Complete Daily Practice when safe.

Complete the return every time.

No change work is needed inside the state.

Days 8–14: Bring it into the day

Use the centre cue lightly before or after pressure.

Keep the emphasis on access, quiet depth, and reliable return.

Days 15–21: Introduce light Operations if ready

If the pathway is familiar and return is reliable, choose one quality and one short behaviour-linked phrase.

Touch it lightly, then return to rest.

Days 22–28: Brief rehearsal and transfer

Use one brief rehearsal for one real situation, then release it, return clearly, and choose one next action.

The aim after 28 days is not dependence on a recording.

The aim is a familiar pathway that participants can increasingly access in real conditions.

What particpants practice

Participants learn to:

  • enter a deeply restorative but aware state under appropriate conditions
  • use simple cues to settle before or after pressure
  • recover without simply switching off
  • keep awareness, choice, pacing, and return available
  • rehearse one useful response from inside the body
  • use a short behaviour-linked phrase
  • return with one practical next step
  • use the Quiet Room for Rest or Operations once the pathway is familiar
  • continue after a pause without shame or all-or-nothing thinking

With repeated practice, useful responses can become more familiar, accessible, and usable under pressure.

What this can support

Statecraft Training is designed for people whose work, relationships, or responsibilities require clearer judgement, steadier presence, and grounded action under pressure.

It may be especially useful where pressure affects:

  • judgement
  • tone
  • communication
  • boundaries
  • decisions
  • recovery
  • follow-through
  • difficult conversations
  • leadership presence
  • the ability to return after disruption

Statecraft does not promise automatic transformation.

It supports practice-based behaviour change by helping participants rehearse one useful response in a trained state, return with it clearly, and repeat the process over time.

Who this pathway is for

Statecraft is for people who need to remain clear, relational, and effective when conditions are not easy.

It is especially relevant for:

  • individuals under pressure
  • professionals in demanding roles
  • leaders and decision-makers
  • founders and project leads
  • teams, cohorts, and organisations
  • people working in complex, demanding, or consequence-heavy environments

It is also relevant for people who already have insight, skill, or experience, but find that under pressure old patterns can still return before the next useful response is available.

Statecraft trains the state from which a clearer response can become easier to access.

Evidence informed training

Statecraft Training is evidence-informed, not yet Statecraft-outcome-validated.

It draws on established principles from self-hypnosis and focused attention practice, slow breathing, mental imagery, embodied rehearsal, cueing, implementation intentions, state-dependent learning, embodied cognition, and behaviour-change science.

The evidence supports the design logic and mechanisms.

It does not mean that the complete Statecraft Training pathway has yet been independently tested as a named programme.

Statecraft Training is training, not treatment.

Its purpose is to help participants practise one useful response clearly enough that it may become easier to recognise and enact in ordinary life.

Important note

Statecraft Training is evidence-informed lucid trance training (mechanistically self-hypnosis informed).

It is not medical treatment, psychological therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, trauma therapy, diagnosis, memory recovery, emergency care, or a substitute for professional support where needed.

The practice preserves awareness, choice, pacing, and clear return.

Use the full guided practices only when safe to rest, focus, and return fully.

Applied rehearsal and advanced pattern work should be used only when the pathway is familiar, the target is simple and constructive, and return is clear.

Do not use the recordings while driving, operating machinery, supervising risk, caring for someone in a safety-critical way, intoxicated, or in any situation requiring immediate external alertness.

If you feel unsafe, unusually detached, disoriented, overwhelmed, or unable to return clearly, stop the practice, open your eyes, move your hands and feet, orient to the room, and seek appropriate support if needed.

How to begin

Statecraft Training begins with a live introductory workshop.

Focused 2-hour sessions and extended 4-hour sessions are available for individuals, professionals, leadership groups, teams, cohorts, and organisations.

The workshop introduces the method, the core pathway, and how to begin safely.

Workshop participants receive 12 months’ access to the full online Statecraft Training pathway.
